On the 4th of July Taylor and I got up to run in the Sandy City 5k. It was his first. I tried telling him to take it slow and when he needed to walk I would stop and walk with him. Little did I know that I was the one slowing HIM down. I let him go ahead of me thinking that I would eventually catch up to him. I never saw him again until the finish line. Turns out he's a good runner and came in FIRST in his age category!! Later that evening we went to the Sandy parade and stayed to watch the fireworks. It was a fun, all-american day :)
