Last night my cute, little grandpa passed away. He was a great grandpa and a great-grandpa. He taught me how to pan for gold (I obviously didn't hit the mother load) and he taught me how to play a mean game of "Farkle" and also "Spite and Malice." We'll sure miss him and I can't wait to see him again someday (in the next life).
p.s. My sister Carrie (the one in the back on the left) is very creative and a great photographer. She got a great picture of my grandpa's hand and my dad's hands. It's a tearjerker. Check it out on her blog.

Tender tribute. Glad you had the picture. I actually found the rules for FARKLE. We'll have to try playing it sometime.
I was going to say I have the rules to Farkle, too. I've made James' family play it once. Maybe we should have a memorial Farkle tournament next Saturday.
I'm sorry for your loss, Kendra. Don't you just love grandpas?
Kendra, I'm sorry for your loss. It was so wonderful to talk to you the other day. I hope your dad is doing okay.
So sorry to hear about your Grandpa. He was really nice that time we stayed with him in Oregon. Please let me know if you need anything.
Sorry about your grandpa. It stinks that those you love have to get old. Atleast we have the gospel!!
