Costco has great gingerbread house kits at Christmas. This year I decided to be brave and buy them. They had sooo much candy in them and the kids loved it!!

We bought the same kits and it turned into a very heated contest with the adults!! Looks like you kept it in the true spirit of fun!! My house was won in case you were wondering.
