Rick

We all love Rick. He is the sweetest, most loving and calm Lab that we have ever met. You can tell they breed good dogs at Guide Dogs. Lauren is doing a great job training him.

Here we go again

It's a big school year this year. All three kids will be in different schools for the first time. Josh is a 4th grader, Taylor starts Jr. High (7th grade), and Lauren will begin High School ?! as a freshman!

Hanging with the Hardys

We had a fun day in Hollywood! We went up to observatory and had a good view of the Hollywood sign. Then headed downtown to do the touristy thing. On the next day we went to the Reagan Library. It was cool and about an hour too long for the kids and 3 hours too short for Parley :)

Headed North to Malibu

We headed north to stay with the Hardys who always know how to entertain us at the beach. We had a tasty breakfast at Paradise Cove, right on the beach. Spent more time playing in the ocean. The air was warm, the ocean was brisk and the kids played until they dropped!

Last Day in San Diego

We packed it in our last day in San Diego. We had fun touring the USS Midway. It was cool but maybe the tour was a little too long for the kids :) We finished the day up visiting Old Town. The Mormon Batallion was really fun and a must-see.

Sea World

Sea World was so much fun! We saw almost every show and rode every ride! Check out Taylor's face the first time he rode Manta. Love the expression/terror on everyone's face on the Atlantis ride :)

Wild Animal Park

On our second day in San Diego, we headed to the Wild Animal Park. It was fun and adventurous. Lauren couldn't stand the thought of going to the zoo and seeing the animals caged, so this was good for her. Josh loved hanging out with the goats!
